..is soon going toward its end...time really passes quickly doesn´t it? A friend and I were just discussing how much work is and means to a scientist yesterday and well, first time I ever seen it like this. We were calculating that every person are awake around 16 h a day...and work takes for us, or probably any scientist, 10 to 12 hours a day. Then we have about 4-6 h remaining a day to live the rest of the life including other compulsory things to do. After some discussion as a scientist on have appr. 2-3 h or real quality time to live the life as one wants to, 2-3 h to dedicate to personal matters, relationships or just relaxing....so..basically...the life I am living or any sicentist is living...is work......quite an intruiging thought, not happy but interesting...
Anyway...life in Boston i moving on...I have another grant application to work on and really need the projects to start working soon...the anxiety is not getting better the longer it takes....Except for that..I feel ok..my foot is starting to be strong enough for me to do some easy exercise on it.
Kram Kram Kram

Well, yes, scientist usually spend a lot of time at work. But so do other people too, like lawyers. Anyway, I am not a real scientist, I try to work no more than 8 hrs a day, sometimes less...
It is good that your foot is getting better, life is so boring w/o exercise. And of course you must be be able to surf in SD!
It sounds so funny, this stress that most scientists have about the lab-meetings. I know what you are talking about. I have meeting with my boss on Monday and Tuesday. Good luck with the WBs!
